Devon Properties manages and leases mid- to high-end residential developments across BC. Thera at McKinley Beach is a 5-storey building above the lake in West Kelowna with 11 units across studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans. Most leasing leads come in remotely, often from out of town, and ask the same first question: which unit is right for me?

THE BRIEF

Devon needed every unit walkable from a phone before a prospect committed to a viewing trip. The leasing portfolio rotates often, so the tour had to handle a unit selector with metadata (beds, baths, sqft, plan code) and switch between units inside one experience. They also wanted the tour to live cleanly on the property's own marketing site at thera-kelowna.com, with deep links to specific units so the leasing team could text "Plan D2" and the tour would open right at that unit.

HOW THEY USE IT

The most useful section if you’re wondering what a tour actually does for a business.

1 Leasing agents text a deep link straight to a specific floor plan instead of asking the prospect to hunt through a unit selector.
2 Out-of-town prospects walk every unit type before committing to a flight or drive to Kelowna.
3 The tour is embedded on the property's thera-kelowna.com listing page so prospects don't need to leave the site.
4 When a unit fills, the agent can still send the same deep link to show what was previously available — the tour acts as a portfolio of the building, not just current inventory.
